In terms of policies, the national new urbanization plan (2014-2020) (2014.3) clearly states that by the end of 2020, more than 50% of new urban buildings will meet the requirements of green building standards. Since 2014, the Ministry of housing and urban rural development has carried out the annual inspection of green building, and then 28 provinces and cities have clearly proposed the mandatory development goal of green building, marking that China's green building has entered a new normal period of high-speed development of "social consensus, scale development, industrial cultivation and comprehensive promotion".
At present, Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, Anhui, Jilin, Guangzhou, Changsha, Wuhan and other provinces and cities have introduced compulsory implementation plans for green buildings. Jiangsu, Zhejiang and other provinces and cities have passed the legislation of the National People's Congress and promulgated relevant regulations on green building.
